Wash hands upon arrival, after treatment and before you take off your mask to leave. Please follow Hand Hygiene posters in Clinic.
Our Practitioners will be washing their hands before they welcome you, each time they enter the room, each time before they leave the room, after they leave the room, before and after they handle equipment or eat lunch.
*Wash hands if you touch your face.
Please arrive 5 minutes before appointment start time, NO EARLIER (this is to help us social distance in the waiting area).
Appointment time includes Intake, Assessment, Treatment, Home Care Directions, Room Change Over/Cleaning and Charting. We are Regulated Health Care Professionals and our duties extend beyond hands on time.
We are supplying each patient with a 3 layers disposable surgical mask once they have washed their hands and for the entirety of their appointment.
Our Practitioners will be wearing a new cloth fabric mask for each appointment that will be sanitized and washed with all the linens from each individual appointment.
We have goggles and aprons available for our practitioners to wear upon request.
There is a Screening Questionnaire that will be done:
at time of booking
the day before appointment (ELECTRONIC INTAKE sent out 48 hours before appointment)
upon arrival after you have washed your hands and put on the mask.
Each Practitioner and Staff will be doing the same Screening Questionnaire the day before a shift and arrival for a shift.
Temperatures will also be taking when you arrive after hand washing and putting on mask for patients and practitioners. Anyone with a fever (38 degrees Celsius or higher) will be asked to go home and self-quarantine for 14 days.
Your appointment time is reserved just for you. A late cancellation or missed visit leaves a hole in the therapists’ day that could have been filled by another patient. As such, we require 24 hours notice for any cancellations or changes to your appointment. Patients who provide less than 24 hours notice, or miss their appointment, will be charged a cancellation fee.
All appointments cancelled within 24 hours of appointment due to Covid-19 symptoms including elevated temperature above 38 degrees Celsius are NOT SUBJECT to Cancellation fee.
All NO SHOWS for appointments will be subject to Cancellation Fee unless you were unable to call due to illness.
All Forfeited Appointments due to disregard of Clinic Protocols ARE SUBJECT TO CANCELLATION FEE.
We are enforcing social distancing outside of treatment time. Please respect the 6 feet in between people. Floor tape will be available for reference. No guests in Clinic, exception: 1 guest if the patient is a minor or patient is in need of assistance.
Minimize time in Clinic:
Arrive only 5 minutes before appointment, not before.
Wait in vehicle if you are more then 5 minutes early.
Call to book or rebook appointments.
If possible keep a credit card on file for ease of payment.
Fill out all electronic Intakes and Consents before arriving at Clinic. NO MORE PAPER WORK in office. You may phone for assistance. Incomplete Intakes and Consents will result in appointment being forfeited and subject to CANCELLATION FEE.
